A Four-Day Celebration of Music and Art

Germination Fest takes over the Freedom Field in Harmony for four days every May. The event celebrates spring as the weather warms and plants bloom. The vibe is very relaxed and attracts those who appreciate free spirits. Imagine dancing barefoot under the stars or gathering with newfound friends late into the night around fire pits.

Although music is a big part of the festival, art is also celebrated during the event. You’ll see amazing art installations and can sign up for workshops to nourish your spirit. Freedom Field truly transforms over the weekend, and you’ll want to be part of the all-day and night party atmosphere. Expect not to get much sleep throughout the festival—bands and DJs appear hourly on stage from 7 pm to 6 am.

Musical Acts Not to Miss

The lineup at the Germination Fest is absolutely stacked this year. Among the acts we are most excited about is Joe Samba, who is headlining on Friday. He will bring his signature blend of reggae-rock to the stage and play hits like “Cold Feet” and “Losing It.” The other headliner we can’t wait to see is Mihali of Twiddle on Saturday night. Mihali’s music is best described as reggae spirit, and he’s beloved for his ethereal soundscapes that seem to reach right into your soul.

The festival lineup has over 20 bands and artists scheduled to appear on Freedom Field. Additional highlighted acts include Brothers Grateful, The Chops, Cold Engines, Aqua Cherry, and many others. There’s also an EDM Side Stage, which is being hosted by Pirate Pug Productions. You’ll love the blend of beats as you gather from dusk to dawn.

Things to Know Before You Go

All are welcome at the Germination Fest, including kids and pets. Kids under 12 are free, and leashed dogs are permitted. The organizers ask that dogs be well-behaved, and there’s a $25 charge for admittance. Adults can purchase a daily or weekend pass to enter the festival. The more days you go, the lower the ticket price. Tickets may be available at the gate for a higher price. Food is permitted, but you can also purchase meals and snacks from the food trucks attending.

Camping is a big part of the Germination Fest experience. Staying on the property for the festival’s duration gives you the real festival experience. Car camping is permitted, so remember your sleeping bag and snacks.

You must stop at Gram’s Five & Dime before your weekend at the festival. We’ve got you covered with all of your cannabis essentials.
